Guided tour in the charming old-town with its architectural treasures, the colourful market,
narrow alleyways and the lovely water channels babbling through the town. Towering above all this
is the Freiburg cathedral with its unique church steeple. After having visited the town lets have
a break and taste the famous “Lange Rote” of Freiburg, which is a long sausage of best quality!
Baden-Baden
Baden-Baden is so nice, that you have to name it twice. Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton was totally right. Baden-Baden is a lovely city, with its 2000 years old bath ruins, the ancient bathing culture, its art exhibitions, cultural events and relaxing natural surroundings. By our guided tour we pass the architectural delights of the Belle Epoch period, the so called “Kurhaus” and the famous Casino, which represent Baden-Baden’s glittering centre stage. For refreshing we taste the thermal spring water, and feel 20 years younger and stronger, to climb up the hill to the Margrave’s castle. From here we have the best view over the “Summer Capitol of Europe”.

Triberg

A small town in the very heart of the Black Forest.
We visit the beautiful pilgrimage church called “Maria in der Tann – Holy Mary in the Forest” in barock style, before
we have a short walk to the highest waterfall between the North Sea and the Alps which is to be found in Triberg.
To finish our tour we enter the town hall to have a look at the wooden carved hall inside. Your guide will tell
you the story behind all these sculptures, and will show you the hidden spirit of the town.
Colmar

Colmar
Wine capital of the Alsace and birthplace of sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, creator of the Statue of Liberty!
By our walk through the well-preserved old city center houses, we’ll find crooked half timbered houses,
as well as large scale buildings in German Gothic and early Renaissance. Matthias Grünewalds famous Isenheim
altarpiece is the most noteworthy of the treasures housed in the city’s Unterlindenmuseum.
If requested we’ll organise a French snack for you with typical French cheese, called Münsterkäse,
and French baguette bread.
Strassburg
is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region and the seat of several European institutions
such as the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union. Its historic center,
the Grande Ile (“Grand Island”), was classified a World Heritage site by Unesco in 1988, the first time
such an honour was placed on an entire city centre. Strasbourg is beautifully fused into the Franco-German
culture. By walking through 2000 years of history we are also visiting the beautiful cathedral of Strasburg
with its large astronomical clock inside. This city is also home to beautiful bridges.
If requested we will organise a light lunch in a typical French inn with Tarte Flambée, a kind of Pizza from Alsace, made from a very thin layer of pastry topped with sour cream, chopped onions and bacon.
